The use of AI
AI can be a wonderful tool to help us organise our revision, however when it comes to English, AI can make a lot of mistakes!
For example, it sometimes it misquotes the text or mixes up who says what and when!

Helpful AI Prompts to help me organise my revision
1. Make me a revision timetable
“I have GCSE English exams coming up. Help me create a realistic revision timetable for English Language and English Literature. Break my revision into short sessions and include time for [insert texts/topics]. Make sure I revise a mixture of content, exam technique, practice questions and timed essays. Include regular breaks and recap sessions.”
2. Find my weakest areas
“Act as my GCSE English tutor. Give me a short diagnostic quiz covering English Language and Literature. Ask me one question at a time and don't give me the answers immediately. At the end, identify my strongest and weakest areas and create a priority list of what I should revise next.”
3. Turn my notes into revision
“I’m going to give you my GCSE English notes. Organise them into clear revision sections. Identify the most important information, key quotations, techniques, themes, context and exam tips. Don't remove important details. Then create a short checklist of what I need to memorise.”
4. Plan a revision session
“I have 45 minutes to revise GCSE English. Create a focused revision session for me. Include a quick warm-up, active revision, exam practice and a final test. Don't let me spend the whole session just reading notes. Make the activities specific and tell me exactly what to do.”
5. Keep track of my progress

EXAMPLE
I have GCSE English exams coming up and I want to make my Literature revision timetable more specific. I study AQA English Literature and my main Literature texts are the Love and Relationships poetry anthology and An Inspector Calls.I come home from school at around 3:30pm and revise from 4:00–6:00pm on weekdays. I have the gym every Tuesday and Thursday evening, so keep those evenings manageable and don't add extra revision after 6pm. At weekends, I revise for at least 4 hours.Please create a realistic weekly revision timetable in a table with four 25-minute sessions from 4:00–6:00pm, including a 5:00–5:25 break.
